I was lucky enough to catch long time hero’s Daniel Clowes and Chris Ware in Brighton this week. It was an in conversation set up which at times felt slightly informal however the event overall was really enjoyable Clowes quick humour complementing Wares nervous energy very nicely.

I’ve recently returned from NY, I had a fantastic trip some of the highlights included: Seeing Joanna Newsom play at the city Hall, listening to Milton Glaser discuss work and drawing, finally seeing a Ben Shahn original at MOMA, visiting the folk art Museum, getting to Coney Island and checking out a Seth show at Adam Baumgold gallery; the gallery owner was kind enough to show me pictures from the next show which is Chris Ware and Saul Steinberg I was amazed!
